REVIEW: In the recent two decades, there have beenlimitedbooks (e.g. Altinay & Paraskevas, 2008; Brotherton, 2008; Clark, Riley, Wilkie, & Wood, 1998; Poynter, 1993)devoted to offering advices and suggestions tothe under- and postgraduates majoring in tourism and hospitality.Under this circumstance, the recently published work under discussion is a welcome addition to the guidebooks for the journey of thesis research. Although when writing the authors have an undergraduate reader in mind, the book is also appropriate for students at advanced levels, whether it is the first time or not they conduct research. An additional reader group is those academics on the position of advisor or supervisor who would also benefit from the plentiful experiences shared by the three advanced scholars who together have 60 years of supervision experience.
